What is Budgura?
Budgura is a free educational personal finance information website from The Nelson M Group LLC. It explains the basics in plain language.
Is Budgura a bank, lender or financial adviser?
No. We do not offer loans, credit, accounts or investments, and nothing here is financial, tax or legal advice.
Will you tell me what to do with my money?
No. Everyone’s situation is different. We explain common ideas in plain language so you can make your own choices or ask a qualified professional better questions.
Will you match me with a bank or a product?
No. We do not recommend, rank or match you with banks, lenders, apps or advisers, and nobody pays us to mention them.
Can you look at my bank statement?
No. Never send us statements or account numbers. Our notes explain the common parts of one.
Do you have a budgeting app?
No. Budgura only publishes educational articles.
Do you share my details with banks or lenders?
No. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with banks, lenders, financial companies, lead buyers or other partners. Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how it is used.
What do I get when I sign up?
Plain-language educational information on the topic you choose, by email if you give one. If you opt in to texts, you also get short texts pointing to the same guides.
Do I have to give a phone number, email or ZIP code?
No. Your email address, mobile number and ZIP code are all optional. A first name, a last name, your topic and the privacy agreement are all we need.
Do I have to agree to texts?
No. Texts are optional, with one unchecked box. You can sign up without ticking it.
How often will you text me?
Message frequency varies, up to about 8 a month. Msg & data rates may apply.
How do I stop texts?
Reply STOP to any text. Reply HELP for help. You can also email [email protected].
How do I stop emails or delete my information?
Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to [email protected].
Can I open an account or apply for anything here?
No. Budgura only publishes information. To open an account or ask about your own money, contact your bank or credit union directly.
